You may visit any GFGB activity prior to becoming a member. If you find that our group is suitable for you, we encourage you to join.
Membership is open to any gay or bisexual men in child-nurturing roles — past or present — regardless of marital status, and to their partners. Membership lists and all information regarding individual members are kept strictly confidential.
Membership dues are $40.00 per calendar year. Information on how to join is available at support meetings or by contacting us.
Membership in GFGB gives you access to GFGB email communications "listserver." This email-based online group allows us a very simple way to stay in touch while maintaining confidentiality. Group messages include periodic notices about meetings, social events, and resources. You may also communicate with the membership at large for assistance locating resources you need, to ask for advice, and to communicate on topics of general interest. You may receive group email messages at any email account you own; it is not disclosed to other members.
Members of GFGB often receive discounts at events such as our Annual Banquet. Members may also vote on general matters and may volunteer to serve on our Board.
